Windspeaker Media Job opportunity
Windspeaker Media (CFWE, CJWE, 89.3 the Raven, CUZIN Radio and Radio Bingo) is looking for a Marketing & Promotions Coordinator to join our team. If you are an outgoing, driven & high-energy individual, creative, a PRO at social media, and love being around people & learning new skills, this is an opportunity for you!
This is a Full-time position, with occasional evenings and weekends as required, and will be based in Edmonton with travel required throughout the province.
In this role, you will be supporting Windspeaker Media Radio Promotions and Radio Bingo Marketing.
Duties:
- Developing and executing/implementing station and sales-driven promotions, contests, Grand Prize Giveaways, community events etc.
- Creating, editing and managing the station’s promotional marketing and advertising materials (i.e. signage, prizing, promo’s etc.)
- Street team coordination including training and scheduling for on-site appearances (remotes, events etc.)
- Attend Events across Alberta, representing the Windspeaker Media Brand
- Radio Bingo Marketing Campaign
- Creating wrap reports for station events, promotions and campaigns
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Broadcasting and/or radio experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the promotions field
- Must be willing to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends as needed)
- Strong writing, PowerPoint, Adobe and oral presentation skills· Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and knowledge of posting to various social media platforms
- Hold a valid Alberta full Class 5 driver’s license, and willingness to travel across Alberta
- Responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- Knowledge of Indigenous Issues
